  Welcome to Alamo Title Company

Eddie Hall, County ManagerEddie Hall, President. Born and raised in San Antonio, Eddie Hall attended St. Anthony Seminary High School, now known as St. Anthony Catholic High School. He began his extensive career in the title industry in 1986 as a courier and later moved into the title plant as a customer service representative. While in the title plant, Eddie moved from abstractor, to residential examiner to commercial examiner. In 1996, he became Title Plant Manager for Chicago Title and in 2005 was appointed Title Production Manager for the FNF combined title plant. Next he moved into commercial/residential closings. Eddie is a member of the FNF Leadership Class of 2002 and past member of the FNF Corporate Title administration counsel. As the leader in our industry, Alamo Title Company remains dedicated to maintaining strong relationships with the real estate communities of San Antonio , New Braunfels and the surrounding areas. The individuals that make up the Alamo Title team are dynamic and uphold the most professional standards. We at Alamo Title are excited about the future as we narrow our focus on servicing our community, not only in business, but through various voluntary organizations.

Peggy AlvaPeggy Alva, Vice President of Operation. Peggy, a native Texan and daughter of a military family, has lived in San Antonio for most of her life. A graduate of Mac Arthur High School, Peggy began her Title Industry career as a receptionist with a Title Company in Dallas in early 1980. Moving back to her home town of San Antonio, she found employment with a Title Company and within a short time was promoted to Escrow Officer. For over 30 years, Peggy worked as a very successful and productive Escrow Officer. Upon retiring from the closing side of the business, she was promoted to Vice President/Operation Manager of one of the leading Title Companies in San Antonio. Peggy played an integral part in the development of the combined San Antonio/Austin Title Production Center. Her enthusiasm and “can do” attitude earned her the promotion of President of the San Antonio/Austin Title Production Center. Recognizing Peggy’s potential, her vast knowledge and experience, Alamo Title Company named her Vice President of Alamo Title Company where she works hand in hand with the company President, Eddie Hall. Alamo Title Company has and will continue to benefit from Eddie Hall and Peggy Alva’s combined knowledge and experience in all aspects of the Title Industry. Alamo Title Company continues to remain the leading Title Company in San Antonio.

Peggy AlvaMeghan Stryk, FNTG Plant Manager, VP. Meghan Stryk, graduate of Southwest Texas State University and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, began her career in the title industry in 2005 at the Law Office of B.R. Allen III, P.C. as a Petroleum Landman where she conducted extensive courthouse research to determine ownership from sovereignty to present day. In 2006, Meghan was recruited by PropertyInfo Corporation as a Title Plant Special Services Coordinator. In 2007, Meghan advanced to commercial examiner for Alamo Title Company. With Meghan’s can-do attitude, vast knowledge and successful track record, she was quickly promoted to Fidelity National Title Group, Title Plant Manager, Vice President, in January of 2010. With the implementation of enhanced technology and development of the title plant services, Meghan has been able to consistently turn a great product in an efficient manner.

  Our History

The predecessor to Alamo Title Company, Alamo Abstract and Title Company, was formed in 1922 in San Antonio, Texas. For 70 years, Alamo Title wrote title insurance exclusively in Texas while reinsuring transactions throughout the United States. In 1993, Alamo Title expanded into New Mexico.

In 1998, Alamo Title Company merged with Fidelity National Financial (NYSE symbol FNF) placing Alamo Title in a family of title companies that constitutes one of the largest title companies in the United States. Through our vast network, we are able to obtain title information in virtually every state in the nation.
